There are a great many Direct TV Specials available. While often the specials are time sensitive and some are location-specific, there are certain features that are available all of the time.

The best feature offered by DirectTV is the FREE professional installation. One of the ways cable companies make money is by charging their customers for the installation and that installation is expensive. Sometimes it can run over a hundred dollars!

While it's true cable companies and other satellite television providers sometimes offer free installation as "soon to expire" promotional package deal, DirecTV always sends a professional out to your house to install your DirecTV equipment for free. The second feature that Direct TV promises is that there is no cost to use the equipment or added start up costs. Cable companies (and sometimes satellite television providers) make extra money by charging rental fees for the equipment and sometimes a "startup" fee. Does Direct TV? No way! The dish and receivers are all included. And there isn't ever a "startup" fee. What is that fee anyway? With Direct TV you only pay the one monthly fee for whatever package you choose.

The third feature Direct TV offers is 100% digital picture and sound 100% of the time. Sometimes with satellite television providers, the picture and sound quality go downhill when the weather gets bad. It has something to do with clouds and signals and other things that nobody can really explain. With Direct TV, you will never have to worry about the loss of quality. You will always have crystal clear picture and sound.

The last (that we'll talk about here) feature DirectTV offers is local programming. While Direct TV is a satellite television service, they take the time to program in local television channels and lineups for most areas. In the case of channels, like The CW that isn't available everywhere, they have a couple of channel substitutions available, depending on what coast you live on. This feature comes with one tiny catch-in some areas a special receiver is needed. But, as previously mentioned, all equipment provided by Direct TV is included in the monthly fee.
